Hi I'm Emily Walker! 

 

 

None only than the ambitious, entrepreneur, day-dreamer behind this site. I'm an artist who spends most of my time dreaming up my next big project, as you will soon discover by looking around my site.

      I have been an artist for as long as I've been walking. From a very young age, I've been inspired to create artwork. I would pick up a marker or a pen and just draw where ever I saw blank space. My parents hated that I would graffiti on their walls, with my crazy scribbles; so they quickly directed me to paper. My mom would try to tell me that, if I wanted to draw to just ask for paper. (Though that never deterred me from carving the family hand soap in the bathroom into little creatures.) I would draw all the time, and it's what has motivated me, daily, since childhood.

         My father has also been a great source of inspiration in my life. He had a mini studio in my childhood home, that I constantly saw him painting in. I would smell the oil paints and just wish I could get my little, grubby hands on them.

         Though I didn't start painting until my later teens, I believe I've been making up for it ever since. I love painting and colors! I love watercolor most of all. I have spent many a perfect day filling pages with watercolor paintings. I love working with my hands and learning new art skills. I love so many different mediums of art that I can't ever quite be tied down to one. I am always trying to find a new interesting way to make my work more visually stimulating. You'll find that very apparent in my work here.
